Do I need a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) before I start?

A valid U.S. driver’s license is required to enroll, and a Commercial Learner’s Permit (CLP) is needed before behind-the-wheel training begins. If you don’t have your CLP yet, we help you prepare for the written exam as part of getting started.

What are your class hours and schedule?

Class hours at our Houston campus are Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM and Saturday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. We’re closed Sundays. We’ll go over the full weekly schedule and how it fits your situation during your campus tour.

Is your training ELDT compliant?

Yes. Kindle Trucking School is an ELDT-approved provider — our curriculum meets the FMCSA Entry-Level Driver Training standards effective February 2022.
